Art at Go Minis was great to work with. They delivered, moved, and picked up on my schedule. Their pricing is very good. I would defiantly recommend Go Minis to everyone.
In my experience things started out good. Office staff was courteous and gave great customer service, Delivery was on time in a perfect spot and sleepers were used under the mini to support it on the ground and minimize turf damage. The unit was rain tight and in reasonably good shape in regards to the floor and door operations. Then, when time for pick up, the truck broke down. It was a Friday and I was told they would be back out on Monday and there would be no additional charge as we were crossing in to the next month by Monday. Monday then Friday came and went and I didn't hear anything. They finally came out on Tuesday and unfortunately for me that was just after 2 days of solid rain and the ruts in the lawn there to show it. So that was that and then I got my next credit card statement and see a prorated charge int the next month. I called and was apologized to and was told it would be corrected
Roll the dice with these guys if you want to, but there are plenty of alternatives - and one far cheaper that I found within 15 minutes of getting off the phone with Art. Misunderstandings can be worked out, but when the owner of a company hangs up on a customer, people should know about it.
Always a great experience! Friendly, efficient service and very clean storage containers. They easily follow directions and have no problem working within the confines of a historic property with odd hours. Highly recommend them.
This is a great company. I love the fact that they can just drop the container off at my house. I ended up needing more time than I thought to get everything loaded up and it wan no problem. I made the call to have it picked up an decided to have them store it for a while instead of going directly to my new location. Took myself a little vacation knowing my stuff was safe and secure. Made the call to have them drop it to th new place an got it unloaded. They put the container exactly where i wanted it. I recommend them to friends now and I'll be using them to store some tools and supplies on a site job soon.
This negative review is for Go Minis in Upton, MA. Ever had a company intentionally hang up on you? It was a first for me. Scheduling was quick, but it went downhill fast from there. I called up, gave them my credit card number and asked them to drop the container with the door facing away from the house. They arrived with the container mounted on the truck with the door facing the wrong way - so couldn't unload it the way I needed. Ok, no big deal, I say to the driver. Let me try to move a trailer in my driveway, and maybe you guys can flip the container on the truck and come back. After calling his office, the driver told me his boss wanted to charge me $50 to have the container flipped, and that I owe them $150 per hour while they try to do that, and while I move the trailer. No thanks. I replied that I don't like that arrangement, and we agreed that I'd call the office to reschedule a time when they can come back with the container mounted the right way. When I called the office to reschedule a time, their manager/owner "Art" started speaking to me as if I just killed his dog. After interrupting me when I told him who I was, he stated "I thought you were someone else" and hung up on me. I called him right back, and he said angrily, "I already know what you said to my driver; you can pay or not!" I'm not sure what his driver said about me, but I'm certainly not paying this clown anything.
